About Campus Safety & Security
JWU's Campus Safety & Security officers adhere to written general orders and procedures, which follow standards for daily operation established by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
The staff is supplemented by an integrated access control system, which is comprised of ID card readers, surveillance cameras, and emergency blue light phones.
Every Campus Safety & Security patrol officer undergoes a minimum of 40 hours in-service training annually, including certification in:
- CPR
- First Aid
- Management of Aggressive Behavior
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention techniques
The Campus Safety & Security crime prevention officers are certified in Community Policing through Environmental Design and routinely hold safety and security education programs for the student body.
Members of the Campus Safety & Security command staff and risk management have received both basic and advanced incident command system training.
About Emergency Management
缅北强奸has established an Office of Emergency Management, and designated all-hazard crisis management teams to develop plans for a variety of emergency challenges and direct/coordinate JWU's emergency management function to provide effective crisis preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery measures.
Emergency Management team members receive National Incident Management System (NIMS) training and participate in drills and exercises with local emergency service providers in the campus area.
